FVU - Strengthen your competencies

FVU courses are for people who speak or read a basic level of Danish. The courses are for free, but you must be 18 years old. 

FVU Startup  

• FVU Startup/spoken Danish. You are either enrolled in a Danish Language Course or have completed it.
• FVU Startup is for students who want to improve their Danish speaking skills.

According to a test, you will be placed in a Danish language class which fits your needs. We will automatically invite you to the test at a time that suits you. 

Admission requirements for FVU Startup  
You must be able to speak and understand basic Danish. If you are attending a Danish course, you must have passed: Danish Language Course 1, module 6, or Danish Language Course 2, module 3, or Danish Language Course 3, module 2.

Economy participating in FVU
If you work with a company that is covered by a collective agreement and have worked there for more than 9 months, you will get your normal salary when participating in FVU during your ordinary workhours. Your employer will be able to get refunds of the expenses of your salary. 

If you join the courses as a private person or working in a company without a collective agreement, you can apply for the state supplement, SVU, equivalent to approximately DKK 100 per hour.

IT

There is a wide range of public and private IT courses both in the AMU and FVU system.

Economy in FVU digital

The IT courses in AMU have a small fee and FVU are free of charge.
