Work at extreme temperatures

Work clothing must be loose.
Protect head and hands from sunlight fx by using a hat, gloves and sunglasses.
Use sunscreen protection and lip palm against UV radiation on all exposed parts of body.
Heavy workload must be carried out in the mornings or in the evenings.

Frost
Depending on the work and the physical activity of the work, some countries acknowledge that special precautions need to be taken when working outdoor at a temperature lower than 10°C. The general recommendation is that the lower the temperature, the more precaution.

General recommendations

Appropriate work clothes that protect from the cold. Avoid clothes that separate in the middle.
Protection of the head and limbs is particularly important.
Breaks in heated rooms.
Working in temperatures below minus 15 °C should be kept to a maximum of 2 hours at a time and 3 – 4 hours a day.
Breaks should be of a minimum of 30 minutes.
